Untimer is built from 8 years of studying focus.
Untimer is a focus timer for people who do not feel time passing. Its founder studied focus for over 8 years and recorded thousands of his own sessions.
He worked in 25 minute sessions with a break after each one. Along the way he took a dozen productivity apps apart. Each one helped with one thing and got in the way of another.
Untimer keeps what worked and leaves out the rest. It was built for the founder first and tested on his own record.

A reason for each part
Each feature in Untimer has a written reason. A feature stays only if it helps you start or keep going.
Beside your work
Untimer fits in a narrow window next to your other tools. The time stays in view while you work.
Your sessions stay private
The app uses your sessions only to show them to you. This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics.
Paid for by Plus
Plus is $1.99 a month or $19 a year. Plus pays for Untimer and keeps the timer free.
How it looks
Peach is the time left. Sage is the time used.
Untimer draws with 2 colours and each one means one thing. They keep that meaning on each screen of the app.
The app has a light theme and a warm dark one for late nights. If your system asks for less motion, the hourglass holds still.
